london!
we finally went to london for the first time last week. we had to visit the u.s. embassy to apply for amelia's passport (which we received in the post today). after a 2 hour stay at the embassy, we headed over to oxford street. it was very cold and very crowded and we were overwhelmed! we had just a few hours before heading back to our friend's house so we braved the tube so that we could at least see big ben. the girls did great and i'll never forget coming up out of the tube station and there it was: big. ben. we walked around for a bit and saw the thames before getting back on the tube and going home. we just kept praising the LORD for giving us such a smooth visit.

we went with the nicholsons on a drive to see snowdon nat'l park. we turned back and had a picnic in betws-y-coed and had a look in the shops. they had a friend visiting from the states and went on to see several other sites which we were not up for.

williamsburg
we had a great weekend in williamsburg, va. we had a very comfortable place to stay and really enjoyed the church family. we visited the jamestown settlement on monday and had lunch and some ice cream around town. our camera battery died so we didn't get too many pictures=) we drove home last night and are spending the day unpacking and doing laundry.

lobstah!
the whole experience was a little upsetting for maggie. she loves animals so putting one on the table was just too much.

maggie and j. edwards
maggie has seen a lot in her little life. one of her first church history visits was to the place where j. edwards preached "sinners in the hands of an angry God." she actually stayed asleep in the car. the church is gone but this stone marks the site.
