"Q" is for quesadilla!

for some reason, i didn't get too many photos. maggie took a really long time to color her quilt pieces and so was in a bit of a hurry when she glued them on the page. explaining that quesadilla did start with a q took a while and i'm not totally sure they got it in the end=)

i watched the kids on monday morning and thought i'd give this a try. overall we liked it-especially after we added chocolate flavored syrup (don't think "hershey's") and squirty cream (don't think "cool whip"). gwyneth was the only one who wouldn't touch it or taste it.

last week we received a birthday package in the mail from our dear friends in the states. one of maggie's presents was a doll making kit from adelyn. she couldn't wait to make one with grandma.

i don't think they color eggs here so we used some vinegar and food coloring. it went pretty well.

last week we finally got around to making a book mark for our Bible time book. we also made a card for mrs. o to thank her for babysitting the girls. i didn't get any pictures but steve and i had a nice lunch date at saffron's. eating outside is my preference these days. we won't have much sun in wales, i'm afraid.
